You can register as a nominated person in two ways:
- log on to your myRegistry account
- select register as nominated person from the home page of myRegistry.
Alternatively:
- select start new submission and select register nominated person
- search for the entity for which you will act as nominated person by using the entity name or number
- check that the entity details are correct
Nominated person details
You can register under your individual name or the name of your law or accountancy firm, provided:
- you are carrying on business as described in paragraph 1 or 2 of Part B of Schedule 2 of the Proceeds of Crime (Jersey) Law 1999

To register under the name of your law or accountancy firm, put the name of your firm in the ‘first name’ box and the legal ending of your firm in the ‘surname’ box.
You will only need to do this on the first nominated person submission. All future submissions will auto-populate. For name changes, you will need to email or phone to request a change via our support team. The contact details can be found at the top of this page.
Step 3 - Complete your registration
Authorisation code
Once we have processed your submission, we will send an authorisation code to the entity’s registered office address. You will need to:
- contact your client for the authorisation code
- log in to myRegistry and locate the Nominated Person PIN Verification submission in the Start a New Submission menu

You must be authorised as the nominated person before you can complete any further steps for that entity.
