Service notice – myRegistry and our Security Interests Register will be unavailable due to scheduled maintenance from 10:00am until 6:00pm on Saturday 29 November and 6:00pm on Tuesday 2 December until 2:00am on Wednesday 3 December.
Between 13 January 2025 and 11 April 2025, supervised businesses will need to provide us with their 2024 data.
This data is used to inform our approach for risk-based supervision and used in aggregated form to refresh National Risk Assessments.
The data we are asking for remains largely the same with the exception of complaint categories added to the non-Schedule 2 Global Footprint workbook and a question on client Sound Business Practice Policy activity added to each of the sector workbooks. Further information on the scope of these additional questions can be found in our guide to workbook question changes.
In addition, for the first time, we will be issuing data requests to all anti-money laundering service providers (AMLSPs) to collect data in respect of their Schedule 2 registered person client entities. This data request will consist of one workbook prepopulated with the names of the AMLSP client entities. It will also contain a one-off data tab requesting information on whether the client entities form part of a DNFBP group. Due to the similarity of the AMLSP workbook questions and those asked of funds, we will not be requesting data about fund Schedule 2 registered persons in the AMLSP workbook
DNFBP Group data will also be requested from Trust Company Service Providers and Fund Services Businesses via the addition of two ad-hoc data collection workbooks:
- DNFBP Groups – TCBs
- DNFBP Groups – MoME [only applicable to managers of DNFBP managed entities]
Guidance on the above can be found here: DNFBP Groups data collection guidance
We will also be requesting data from all Prescribed Non-Profit Organisations (NPOs).The method for collecting the data will vary depending on how the Prescribed NPO is serviced:
- Regulated Prescribed NPOs (administered by TCBs) - the data collection workbook for these entities will be sent to the TCB service provider recorded within our records. The TCB will complete one data collection workbook with details of each of the NPOs it provides services to within the one workbook. This will be available via the myJFSC portal.
- Independent Prescribed NPOs that are not serviced via a TCB – the data for these entities will be collected via an online survey issued by direct email.
A number of natural persons providing lending or trust and company services (for example, non-executive directors), who registered with us for the conduct of these Schedule 2 Proceeds of Crime (Jersey) Law 1999 (POCL) activities, on or after 30 June 2023, may receive this data request for the first time. Where this applies to you, please consult the sole trader guidance for a question-by-question explanation of how the request may be applicable to you. Should you encounter any difficulties in completing the data request, please email [email protected].
