Elaine Walsh

Executive Director of Finance, Strategy and Change

Elaine Walsh is an accomplished finance director with extensive experience in strategic planning, corporate governance, and risk management within financial services in London and the Channel Islands.

Elaine has overall responsibility for the JFSC’s change agenda and operational improvement while also ensuring financial control and value for money.

Before joining the JFSC, Elaine held positions as Director of Finance at Family Nursing & Home Care and, previously, Chief Financial Officer at BNP Paribas Channel Islands, managing multiple legal entities and leading significant financial transformations. 

Elaine's career highlights include enhancing financial reporting, leading external audits, and implementing transformation plans. She has a proven track record in building high-performing teams and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Elaine holds a BA in Economics from University College Dublin and is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (FCMA).
